STINCS is a way for us to remember all the elements that we need include in our title sequence coursework.

We learnt that there is four ways that a title sequences can be portrayed.

1. Prologue - we were shown the title sequence of The Incredible Hulk, which showed us everything the protagonist did, to prepare us and make us understand more, about the film, before the film starts.

2. Themes - we were shown the title sequence to Love Actually, which showed us what themes the film portrayed. For Love Actually we understood that the theme that was being shown was love.

3. Mood & Tone - we were shown the title sequence to Splice, which set the mood and tone for the film. the title sequence was scary and intense, which set the atmosphere for the
rest of the movie.

4. Genre - we were shown the title sequence to Splice again to display how the genre is shown in the title sequence. We see from the Splice title sequence that the film is a sci-fi and maybe a thriller or horror.
